Building the science of Physics AI
Luminary is a research and development lab for Physics AI. Physics AI is the application of AI to the design and verification of the physical world: models trained on simulation, experimental, and operational data, grounded in real physics, that predict how a system will behave in seconds.

Methods
Out-of-distribution detection and uncertainty quantification for Large Physics Models
A Large Physics Model maps geometry and operating conditions to the resulting physical fields. Luminary-OOD flags when an input falls outside the range the model was trained on, so engineers know when to go back to full simulation. It does this without the roughly 50x inference cost of Monte Carlo dropout.
